About

The goal of this project is to support youth at risk who have learning differences to re-engage in education through an inclusively designed platform, called the Social Justice Repair Kit, that integrates authentic project-based learning.

The platform is openly available to any group (or individual) hosting youth movements, youth action events and social justice movements. It adds extensibility, collaboration support and organizational support for all participants in social justice or youth action groups.

For youth with identified and unidentified learning differences, the Kit adds inclusive design supports to remove barriers to participation.

We have developed a Child Safeguarding Policy as part of this project to guide our work and the work of our partners, based on the guidelines and assistance of Keeping Children Safe.

Get Involved

This project is being created through iterative cycles of co-design with youth and supporting organisations. We are seeking stories from youth with learning differences and from those who work with youth with learning differences.

If you are interested in being involved, please get in touch! You can email us at idrc@ocadu.ca or collaborate with us on the Fluid Project Wiki.
